About
Escatawpa
Animal Clinic

InCollage_20250325_133357630.jpg

Escatawpa Animal Clinic was established in July of 1977 by Dr. Michael McCoy as a mixed animal practice. The clinic started in a small rental space in the center of Escatawpa, which served as a clinic for small animal medicine and a home base for his large animal mobile unit.

In 1979,  he purchased a house on the lot we are currently located. He renovated the house and turned it into a small animal clinic. He was able to then have more emphasis on small animal medicine. He also was able to have a fenced area for large animal haul-in appointments.

In 2003, Dr. McCoy demolished the old clinic and built the wonderful facilities we have today, which allowed him to offer more small animal services. It opened up the doors to be the practice that we are today!
